E-SAFETY AWARENESS & SOCIAL MEDIA TRAINING

COURSE OVERVIEW:

E-Safety Awareness & Social Media Training aims to support and educate young people to be safe on line.

This course will assist providers to fulfil Ofsted’s requirement for all staff to receive regular e-Safety training.

The course gives an introduction to e-Safety and social media and raises your awareness on the below.

COURSE CONTENT:

  • What is E safety
  • The risks to children and being ‘Share Aware’
  • The importance of educating and empowering children
  • The different types of social media
  • Understanding privacy settings and the risks to you
  • How to report cyber bullying or inappropriate conversations, images and information being shared
  • How to deal with E-Safety incidents
  • How to draw up appropriate user agreements with children and young people
