E-Safety Awareness & Social Media Training aims to support and educate young people to be safe on line.
This course will assist providers to fulfil Ofsted’s requirement for all staff to receive regular e-Safety training.
The course gives an introduction to e-Safety and social media and raises your awareness on the below.
COURSE CONTENT:
- What is E safety
- The risks to children and being ‘Share Aware’
- The importance of educating and empowering children
- The different types of social media
- Understanding privacy settings and the risks to you
- How to report cyber bullying or inappropriate conversations, images and information being shared
- How to deal with E-Safety incidents
- How to draw up appropriate user agreements with children and young people
