CARE AND PLACEMENT AND MEASURING OUTCOMES

COURSE OVERVIEW:

Care and Placement And Measuring Outcomes Training is aimed at residential staff, seniors and or their managers whom engage with the wider system to ensure the child’s needs are met. This course seeks to raise awareness of how Care Planning. Placement and Case Review Regulations 2010 can be utilised effectively for looked after children.

This training seeks to explore how the homes care planning processes can be utilised to measure outcomes for Children and Young People.

COURSE CONTENT:

  • Legal framework for looked after children
  • Emphasis on effective care planning
  • Delegated duties set out within legislation and understanding the roles and responsibilities of Social Workers, Registered Managers and IRO’s have to play within this
  • Evidencing the child’s starting point and journey
  • Developing placement plans with clear placement aims and objectives
  • Measuring positive outcomes
